Junior Cricket - Under-13 Program (ages 9-13 years)

As players gain experience or show aptitude towards hard ball, they are carefully placed in our Under-13 Group. This group is exposed to Hardball matches, Ball Machine use and Video analyses under careful observation of our Qualified Coaches.

The focus of the Under-13 group is to prepare them for matches against other clubs and develop match skills by playing scenarios, Intra squad matches and drill work. Technique development and skill acquisition is a very important factor in this age group and time is taken to ensure all players gain an understanding of the rules and spirit of which Cricket is played.

Over the past 6 months this group has formed a strong union and identity and many of these players have realized goals and ambitions to play representative Cricket. The KCC supports any young cricketer wishing to pursue their cricket at the highest level and this journey sometimes begins at this age.
