Training Regulations
Use of the Ball Machine:
Available in ‘Bookings only’ times of pre-season schedule (see also below).
Players must contact Head Coach, Peter Wooden at peterw@kcc.org.hk for booking.
Players must be 18 years of age.
Ball machine will be assembled and dissembled by Head Coach, Peter Wooden. If Peter is not available to do this the session will not take place unless a committee member is present to do so.
Players take full responsibility if Ball machine is damaged and must pay for the cost for any repair or replacement of Ball machine and Ball machine Balls.
Accessing Storage:
All access to the storage at specific times must be first approved by Head Coach, Peter Wooden and can be contacted at peterw@kcc.org.hk.
A key will for the storage will be at reception and with Kings Chan and players are responsible during nominated booking times to returning the key to reception. Staff at reception will be instructed not to give the key to anyone unless they have been notified by Peter Wooden or a Cricket Committee member under Peter’s Approval.
Players will be responsible for Logging in and out of storage and be responsible for replacing damaged or missing equipment during that time.
Any damage or missing equipment from the storage must be replaced or repaired at the cost to the individual(s) that booked that time to the storage.
The Storage will be clearly labeled and equipment must be returned to that part and kept clean.
Bookings Only Sessions:
Both Net 1 and Net 2 will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6PM if you wish to use the bowling machine or have throwdowns/bowling practice. Please contact Peter Wooden at peterw@kcc.org.hk to book a time.
For ‘Bookings Only’ sessions: 30 minutes time slots are available for Ball machine use and other net use and this is to cater for two people so please nominate a time with a KCC member and this will be published. E.g. Saturday 7/8. 4.30 – 5pm. Ball machine net (Sean Montague & Afzaal Haider).
The other net can be used for bowling practice, net or batting drills in pairs or small groups (no more than 6)
Net 1 is the net closest to the field, Net 2 is the furthest from the field.
All ‘Bookings Only’ Sessions must be made through Peter Wooden at peterw@kcc.org.hk
Using KCC Cricket balls
All balls borrowed must be accounted for and returned to Ball Section of the Storage.
Any lost or damaged balls must be replaced with new balls at the cost to the person
Only ball machine balls may be used if the ground or the nets are wet and the balls may become wet.
Only old or yellow balls can be used for fielding exercises.
