                                                                            December 2010

                                                                            "Non-linear" Saracens claim KCC bragging rights - Peter Wooden scored another century as Saracens beat Tartars by 64 runs to claim bragging right at KCC for the 2010-11 season. 
                                                                            Third place finish for Komodos - The KCC Komodos finished 3rd in the HKCA Under-11 League for 2010-11.
                                                                            KCC to host ICC World Cricket League DIvision 3 2011 Final - KCC will host six matches, including the grand final, of the ICC World Cricket League Division 3 during 22-29 January 2011.
                                                                            Hancock Shield - KCC's finest take on the best from HKCC in the two-day Hancock Shield match at HKCC on 4-5 December 2010.
                                                                            Under-15 League underway - KCC Templars will kick off their U15 League campaign at Mission Road on 11th December.

                                                                            November 2010

                                                                            Dearing steers Crusaders to victory - A fine 97 from Dylan Dearing helped Crusaders defeat Laguna Gully by 68 runs.
                                                                            Double happiness for Infidels - Infidels enjoyed T20 victories over Templars and LSW Knights despite not playing at their best.
                                                                            Saracens feel some Nomadic pain - Saracens winning streak came to an abrupt halt against Nomads despite another half-century from Peter Wooden.

                                                                            October 2010

                                                                            Saracens put Lancers to the sword - Saracens' impressive run continues as they beat SCC Lancers by 3 wickets on the back of another Peter Wooden ton.
                                                                            Maidens bowl LSW over at SSC - The KCC Maidens cruised to an easy win over LSW Wasps this week despite only fielding 9 players.
                                                                            Hong Kong Cricket Sixes - It's been a big week for the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes with the announcement that the KARP Group has  signed a five year sponsorship deal.
                                                                            Clean sweep for KCC teams - KCC Maidens completed the clean-sweep against HKCC rivals by beating HKCC Cavaliers by 8 wkts
                                                                            Templars thrash Scorpions - Another top display saw Templars defeat Scorpions by 68 runs at KCC on Sunday.
                                                                            Crusaders bomb against CCC - Crusaders spluttering start to the Saturday League season continued as they slumped to a six wicket loss to CCC.
                                                                            Saracens make light work of Gap Ramblers - A brilliant all-round display saw Saracens thrash Gap Ramblers by seven wickets.
                                                                            Pistol Pete makes HK Sixes team - KCC Coach Peter Wooden has been named in the Hong Kong team for the 2010 Hong Kong Cricket Sixes, while Roy Lamsam will lead a Hong Kong Development squad to play against China.
                                                                            Painful loss for Saracens - Saracens fall agonisingly short of a massive run chase against Pakistan Club, with Peter Wooden scoring 148.
                                                                            Robbie Lee Trophy - CCC coasted to an easy victory over KCC in the annual Robbie Lee Trophy played on 1st October.
                                                                            KCCCRICKET.COM Forums now open for business - members can now login to the KCCCRICKET.COM Forums using their Facebook or Twitter account. 
                                                                            Sujanani spares Saracens blushes - Ravi Sujanani 44 runs and 3 wickets ensured Saracens got their 2010-11 campaign off to a winning start in a low scoring match against Mainlanders at Mission Road.

                                                                            September 2010

                                                                            Hong Kong Cricket Sixes - It's been a big week for the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes with the announcement that the KARP Group has  signed a five year sponsorship deal.
                                                                            Second win for Tartars - Tartars good start to the season continued as they beat Taipan in their second match following a first round victory over Nomads.
                                                                            Peter Wooden off to a flyer - KCC coach Peter Wooden kicked off his season in fine style as he smashed an unbeaten 150 to lift Infidels to victory over Optimists in a Sunday Cup T20 match. However they suffered a second loss to Vagabonds in as many weeks in their first match of the day.
                                                                            Infidels stumble against Vags - Infidels new season got off to the worst possible start when they were beaten by Vagabonds in the opening round of the Sunday League, despite a brilliant 117 from Peter Wooden.
                                                                            Tartars beat Nomads - Tartars kicked off their 2010-11 season with a very satisfying victory over HKCC Nomads with Farooq, Afzaal and Ateeq all playing starring roles.
                                                                            Asian Games Squads - Six KCC players will represent Hong Kong at the Asian Games in November. James Atkinson, Roy Lamsam and Farooq Saeed have been selected in the men's team while Keenu Gill, Dominique McCusker and Kristine Wong will play in the women's team. 

                                                                            August 2010

                                                                            KCC/HKCC Twenty20 Festival - 11 & 12 September - A very wet weekend saw only 16 overs of cricket played in the Twenty20 Festival at KCC.
                                                                            Junior Programs (Sep-Oct) - Enrollment is now open for junior cricket coaching courses for Under-11, Under-13 and Under-15 players.
                                                                            National Squad Named - The Hong Kong Selectors have named 22 players to form the National Squad for the next 12 months. Only two KCC players have made the cut - Roy Lamsam and Waqar Darwood while Ashish Ghadia and Miten Khatri are named as Development Players.  
                                                                            Saturday and Sunday Fixtures released - the HKCA has released fixtures for the 2010-11 Saturday League, Sunday League and the all-new Twenty20 Sunday Cup.

                                                                            July 2010

                                                                            Senior Training Schedule for July & August - Details of the pre-season training schedules for July and August are now available under Men's Cricket.
                                                                            Change for Good - The HKCA introduces sweeping changes to the way members will vote.
                                                                            Indoor Cricket League - The KCC will be running an indoor cricket league for U11s and U13s this August.
                                                                            Elite Player Series - the finals of the EPS 2010 will be played at the Kai Tak Cricket Ground this Sunday, 8th August. Former Aussie ODI player Ryan Campbell will be turning out for the Stormers in the 3rd/4th Play-off match.
                                                                            All in vain - Peter 'Woodworm' Wooden hit an unbeaten 89* off 51 balls but his efforts were in vain as his Stormers team were blown away for the second week in a row in the Elite Player Series being played at Kai Tak.
                                                                            Elite Player Series 2010 - The HKCA has announced plans for a new Elite Player Series (EPS) to be played at Kai Tak during July and August 2010. A women's series will be played in September.

                                                                            KCCCRICKET.COM goes LIVE! The KCC Cricket Section's new website is now live!
                                                                            KCC Cricket Awards - Following an outstanding first season with KCC, Peter Wooden received the Bob Bell Trophy for Cricket Player of the Year at the Cricket Section's Annual Awards Dinner held on 24th June 2010. [Photos]
                                                                            2010-11 Cricket Committee - Simon Scanlon re-elected Captain of Cricket at Cricket Section AGM.
                                                                            Master Blaster - KCC junior cricketer KInchit Shah blasted a brilliant 105 from 97 balls for Hong Kong Under-15 against Singapore Under-15 in a match played at Kai Tak Cricket Ground on 18th June 2010. Hong Kong won the match by 155 runs.
                                                                            KCC Tartars win U11 Plate and KCC Saracens win U11 Bowl - Hong Kong Under-11 League took place at the end 2009-10 season, with only two teams from KCC this year – Saracens and Tartars. Both teams had a good mix of senior and junior players. Apurv Sharma led the Tartars and Ansh Lulla the Saracens. It was a rainy and windy morning on 15 May 2010, when both our teams faced some tough competition during the league matches. [Read more...]
                                                                            KCC Multi-Sports Camps 2010 - join one of KCC's Multi-Sports Camps 2010, starting in 6th July and be active this summer! Cricket, tennis, netball and so much more!
                                                                            Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2010 - KCC reached the semi-final at the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2010 played at Mission Road but couldn't bring home any of the HK$50,000 prize money on offer.

                                                                            May 2010

                                                                            Saturday League Grand Final - Crusaders and Pakistan Club play out a dramatic tie but The Crusader is not impressed.
                                                                            KCC beaten by Stragglers of Asia - KCC suffered a six wicket loss to the Stragglers of Asia, featuring former England Test Captain Mike Gatting, in a match played on 22nd May 2010.
