![]() Hong Kong Cricket Sixes It's been a big week for the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes with the announcement that the KARP Group has signed a multi-million dollar sponsorship deal that effectively secures the financial security of the event for the next five years. The deal is expected to cover the loss of funds from the M-Mark deal that expires in 2010. In addition, the Hong Kong Sixes organisers announced at the Press Conference on 29th September 2010, that Jet Airways had come on board as the official airline partner. It is hoped that this link will open up the lucrative Indian market for cricket sixes related tours. The teams participating in this year's competition will be Australia, England, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka. China will also make an appearance for the first time when they play an exhibition match against a Hong Kong Development team during the Sunday lunch interval. Ticket prices for the event were also announced. There are HK$730 for an adult 2-day ticket and HK$380 for a child ticket. Single day tickets for Saturday and Sunday are also available. Finally, it was announced that pink balls will be used at this year's event.
