The HKCA has announced plans for a new Elite Player Series (EPS) to be played at Kai Tak during July and August 2010. The series, featuring a number of KCC players and played under Twenty20 rules, will be used to select a 20-man National Training Squad for the next 12 months.  A similar series for women will be held in September.
